There’s something really special about letting a newborn session unfold slowly.

This beautiful girl was 5 weeks new — not within the “usual” window… and nothing about this felt missed.

She fed often and we simply followed her lead. No rushing. Just space for connection, for presence, for real moments.

This is the beauty of in-home sessions.

Your home, your space, your baby exactly as they are.

There is no absolute perfect timeline for capturing your babys first moments.

You haven’t missed it.

You’re just in a different part of the story — and it’s just as meaningful 🤍

Syed & Sadia, thank you for trusting me and welcoming me into your home. It was so special to share this time with you.

If this feels like your kind of session, I’m here when you’re ready ✨

Just 24 hours earthside 🤍

This beautiful little boy had only just arrived, his family soaking up that newborn magic that fills your heart with love & awe.

His mama had arranged placenta services, and as I arrived to collect it, I couldn’t help but bring my camera along too. Moments like these are simply too precious not to honour.

These tender Fresh 48 moments are included with my placenta services, because the first hours with your baby deserve to be remembered just as beautifully as they are lived.

It’s always such a privilege to witness families in these first quiet hours of meeting their baby. Thank you for allowing me to hold space for such a special moment in your story. 🤍

A little sneak peek from beautiful baby Lacey’s - wrapped mini session - 4 weeks new -✨

She wasnt too sure about the whole thing hehe… but from these images — and the rest of her gallery — you would never know. Keeping her peaceful, calm, and completely content is the objextive.

That’s the quiet magic of newborn photography: capturing the beauty of these early days and turning them into memories her family will treasure forever 🤍

Placenta encapsulation is something many mothers become curious about during pregnancy.

But one of the most common questions I hear is:

“Is it actually safe?”

A large review looking at 23,242 women planning community/home births in the United States (2015–2016) explored this exact question.

Researchers from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and Oregon University examined outcomes among mothers who chose to consume their placenta — including both raw encapsulated and steamed encapsulated forms.

What they found was interesting.

Around 30.8% of women in the study chose to consume their placenta.

And importantly:

The data showed no increased risk to newborns and no increase in neonatal hospitalisations among mothers who consumed their placenta compared to those who did not.

For many mothers, learning about the research can help them feel more informed and confident when considering their postpartum options.

Placenta encapsulation isn’t something every mother chooses — but for some women it becomes a meaningful part of supporting their recovery after birth.

If you're curious about placenta encapsulation, how the process works, or whether it may be right for you, you’re always welcome to message me with questions.

I’m here to support you in making the decision that feels right for your postpartum journey. 🤍
