Catching the last light at Plenty Gorge Park. 🌳🌅🦘

For a location not too far from the city, it really is a beautiful public parklands that many Kangaroos call home.

Amongst this park, is the Blue Lake, which is remarkably still when no one’s around.

P.s. If you haven’t realised this already about me, I’m obsessed with photographing trees. Particularly isolated trees, or those rare individuals looking to separate themselves from the masses.

Hello everyone! 👋🤙

I thought I’d reach out and say g’day to all of you, with a bit more of a personal touch from me!

Whether you’ve been with me since the beginning of this journey (those will remember what my account name used to be haha), or have recently joined me, I couldn’t be more stoked & grateful to have you onboard!

As some of you would know, my style has changed plenty over the years, and adapted greatly! If you follow me now, you’re probably a fan of my warm, nostalgic, wholesome portrayal of Melbourne & beyond that I try to convey through my shots.

If you’re not following me, and that’s a style you love the sound of, I’ve compiled a collection of some of my shots over the last 12 months that you might enjoy having a flick through!

Photography has always been an interest of mine since highschool, but I didn’t really dive into it until 2020! 6.5 years of this journey thus far, and it has been the highlight of my life. Not only has this hobby allowed me to express myself, it’s also given me the most amazing experiences in the most beautiful places, with incredible people.

What I love so much about photography is how it has you on a constant adventure, always observing your surroundings, and freezing those memorable moments in time, immortalising them.

I can’t express enough how much all of you have been such an integral part of my journey & growth as a photographer. I feel extremely blessed to have you all here supporting me.

My absolute favourite part of this entire adventure is hearing from you all about how my photos evoke a powerful emotion within you, or resurface a previous memory from your own adventures. I hear this in person, comments on my posts, messages through my platforms; whatever the format, know that I live for those moments, and will cherish them always.

For those that have stuck around, I love you all. 🤍 For those that have just come onboard or will be coming onboard now (😉 haha), I really look forward to sharing my work with you.

A few frames from my big day walking along Hadrian’s Wall. 🪨🐏

I was pleasantly surprised by this location. Not because I didn’t expect it to be an incredible journey, but it ended up being my Top 3 experience of the entire trip.

The beauty of the English countryside during Spring is truly something else.

I only did a day trip, but 40,000+ steps later and I covered some serious ground. From Hexham to Haltwhistle, this particular section of the hike was extraordinary.

For those who don’t know much about Hadrian’s Wall:

Nearly 2,000 years ago, thousands of Roman legionaries quarried and stacked these stones across the rugged crags of northern England. Commissioned in 122 AD by Emperor Hadrian, the wall spanned 73 miles from the Irish Sea to the North Sea. More than just a military defense against northern tribes, it served as a psychological boundary between the Roman Empire and the unknown, complete with an incredible network of milecastles, watchtowers, and deep earthwork ditches. Standing here today, you can really feel the weight of history cut right through the countryside.

The rolling green hills, beautiful small forests, weaving pathways, farm animals and pillars of history.

At the end of this series, you’ll see one of my last pitstops. Arguably saving me as I took the final leg to Haltwhistle.
