I have been asked to share this beautiful woman’s page, as she is extremely altruistic and is doing the best she can to help stray dogs in Thailand.

“This is an Australian lady living in Thailand who runs an animal shelter, and cares for stray dogs.

She relies on donations, and volunteers.

Over time her reach on social media has lessened , and she asks for people to share her page to gain more followers and more people to donate or help and adopt, even Aussie travellers/backpackers who would be willing to help.

If you could have a look at her page and share if you were comfortable to do so, I have followed her page for a few years now , and donate small amounts frequently.”

Please chuck a follow on her page if you want, and share her hard work 🙏🙏

Thank you, my friends xx

Few hours sleep and back at the vet for blood check and working out a plan for her. She looks much better today, but I know how quickly that can change.

Good morning, my friends.

I’ve been asked by a client if I can help with finding her pup a forever home.

Previous posts by Mara have failed to elicit any interest, so I am posting here in the hope that someone has a need for a beautiful pup in a loving home.

From Mara:

“💙 Looking for Harley's Forever Home 💙

This is one of the hardest posts I've ever written.

Last year, I adopted Harley, a beautiful 5-year-old Tri-coloured American Staffy, directly from a local breeder who was rehoming several of her retired breeding dogs.

At the time, I felt strongly that he deserved a chance at a better life and at the time thought that was with us.

After a lot of soul-searching, I've come to realise that as a solo mum navigating the current cost of living pressures, I simply can't give Harley the life I believe he deserves long-term.

Harley is a loving, affectionate boy who absolutely adores people. He's fantastic with children and has become very accustomed to family life indoors. He currently sleeps in a crate in the laundry and is well settled with that routine, although he'd happily choose to sleep beside your bed if given the chance.

A few things about Harley:

🐾 5-year-old male American Staffy

🐾 Excellent with kids

🐾 Loves human company and would thrive with someone home often

🐾 House-trained and crate-trained

🐾 Enjoys baths and is wonderfully behaved at the dog wash- loves his clam pool also

🐾 Loves running around enclosed spaces (local soccer oval) and getting his zoomies out

🐾 Affectionate, loyal, and people-focused

To be completely transparent:

🐾 He still needs to be desexed

🐾 Hasn't been socialised with other dogs

🐾 His recall is not reliable, so he requires secure fencing and serious training prior to any time off leash

🐾 He's a very fussy eater and prefers pet mince, pet meatballs, or premium dry food only

🐾 When he's annoyed, he has a habit of tipping over his water bowl (which is frustrating but admittedly a little funny)

This is not a decision being made lightly, and finding the right home is far more important to me than finding a quick home. I would love to find someone who can offer Harley the companionship, stability, and love he deserves for the rest of his life.

If you think you might be the right fit, or know someone who may be looking for an adult dog to welcome into their family, please send me a message.

I'd be happy to answer questions and discuss whether Harley could be a good match. Also happy to accommodate trial periods as required as I know it's not a decision to be made lightly.

Please share to help Harley find his forever family. ❤️”

From me:

If you are interested, please message me directly here, through my business page.

Thank you 🙏

Celebration of Life (End of Life) photoshoot.

This one is for Marlene.

I remember this photoshoot well.

Marlene was full of cheeky sass, aided by her daughter, Libby and grandchildren Amber and Ben.

We met in a beautiful park on a sunny day, where Marlene showed off her dancing moves and sashayed around like a little rapper.

The love in this family was so infectious and warm - it was beautiful to see and capture.

I was very saddened to hear that Marlene not only passed away last Friday, but also that the family are unable to pay for the cost of her funeral.

Libby - I will do what I can to help Marlene get the send off she so rightly deserves.

Marlene - You were a naughty chipmunk, and it was a pleasure to meet you as you wiggled around the park and danced to your favourite tunes. You will be missed dearly 🙏

My friends;

If any of you can spare some time to click on the link below, I’d appreciate it greatly. I’d love for us to help raise enough so that Marlene is sent off in style, and with respect.

Rest in Peace, beautiful lady.

Sometimes there are photoshoots that feel a little unreal, because the light is so beautiful and everything is bathed in an ethereal glow.

This was the case with Emily and little Ellie. Ellie is the happiest, most joyful little soul that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, and she is constantly wandering around, chattering like a happy bunny, exploring the world.

I watched her as she and her Mum chased the waves, searched for little pebbles and showed that she was a big girl by climbing some small rocks (under strict supervision).

Thank you for asking me to photograph you and your family again, Emily. It’s always a really gentle and joyous occasion, full of love squeals of laughter.

Appreciate you very much ###

Did you know that a colon can entirely change the meaning of a sentence?

For example, "I ate my friend's lunch", vs " I ate my friend's colon."
