A little slice of Europe, right here in McLaren Vale ❤️

Bridget & Tim’s wedding was honestly one of the most amazing and unique days I’ve ever had the pleasure of capturing.

These two are the people behind Tõll & Piret, formerly Simon Hackett Winery. They’ve poured so much heart and hard work into transforming this place, and getting to capture their own wedding there made it pretty bloody special.

Red was the colour of the day, with personal touches everywhere you looked. You could feel how much love had gone into bringing it all together. A celebration that felt completely theirs, in a place they’ve put so much of themselves into.

This is the stuff I love photographing. The details that mean something, the people behind them and everything that unfolds when everyone gets together.

And the fact that this little pocket of Europe is just down the road from me on the Fleurieu Peninsula? How lucky are we.

This one’s for the brides 🤍

The dress is on, your girls are hyping you up, and suddenly it hits you… you’re actually getting married!

For some of you, this is a day you’ve pictured since you were little. Getting to be there when it all becomes real, capturing you looking bloody beautiful and absolutely buzzing, is such a special part of my job.

And somewhere between the happy nerves, a few happy tears and someone making you laugh, we get those photos that feel completely like you.

That’s what I love. A little guidance, plenty of laughs and letting you soak it all in.

From McLaren Vale vineyards to the Eyre Peninsula, getting to photograph beautiful brides having the time of their lives never gets old.

An engagement party with a pretty bloody good plot twist 😂🥂

Emma & Daniel said “I do” at the Whyalla Maritime Museum Gardens, then rocked up to their own “engagement party” as husband and wife. Surprise!

A beautiful spring wedding on the Eyre Peninsula, sunset photos together, and Ollie the Labrador joining in for a few family portraits. Obviously couldn’t leave the fur baby out 🐾

I bloody love being part of days like this. Couples doing things their own way, making it personal and having a good time with the people they love. There’s so much worth capturing when you give yourselves room to just enjoy it.

I love the big moments, but it’s often the personal stuff that stays with me. Like the letters these two wrote to each other on the morning of their wedding.

It’s a pretty special thing to be invited into those moments, and something I’ll never take for granted.

From St Ignatius to Ayers House in Adelaide, thank you for having me along to capture your day, you two.

This is the part of filming weddings I love most. Getting to know people, helping them feel comfortable, and capturing something that actually feels like them.

Honestly, I just love being there for days like this. Getting to know your people, having a laugh with you and capturing everything as it happens.

I’ll give you a bit of direction when you need it, keep the photos relaxed and get you back to celebrating with everyone. I want you feeling comfortable, enjoying yourselves and letting the day be yours.

There’s so much to capture in between the big moments too. Your mates getting around you, a proper hug from your parents, the laughs you’ll probably forget about until you see the photos. That’s the stuff I love.

This is my work. And I fu***ng love it. 🤍

Being a wedding photographer and videographer ticks so many boxes for me. Good people, plenty of laughs and the chance to be creative. I get to be my chatty, outgoing self, help you feel comfortable and capture all the little things happening around us.

Give me relaxed couples who want to enjoy their day with their favourite people, and I’m in my element. Half the time, it genuinely doesn’t feel like work.

There’s been a fair bit of rebuilding behind these photos, too. About three years ago, I restarted my business after my divorce. Letting go of six years of building something was bloody hard, and somewhere through it all, I’d lost a bit of myself too.

These days, I’m feeling more like me again. Having fun, trusting my creativity and remembering why I started. From finding beautiful light on the day to bringing the photos and films together afterwards, I love the whole process.

To the couples who’ve had me along for their weddings across Adelaide, McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu Peninsula, thank you. Looking through these photos reminds me how much I’ve loved being there with you.

And if you’re getting married further afield, I’d love to hear from you. I’ve photographed beautiful places and worked with tourism boards and brands all around the world, and travel has always been a huge love of mine.
