South Australian Glow πŸ„β€πŸŸ«

It's that time of the year again when if you're really lucky you might get a glimpse of Glow in the dark Mushrooms, Omphalotus nidiformis.

It was amazing how much these ones glowed green to the naked eye. An amazing natural sight.

The last image was captured by my 9 year daughter.

A fun creative night at the , exploring new camera techniques. An amazing Adelaide Hills destination that everyone should explore. So many beautiful flowers.

Between clouds and using the moon πŸŒ™ light I was able to capture these creative defocused bokeh stars images and timelapses, highlighting the beauty of the each flower.

Using a standard Sony camera and lens, I captured the Artemis II Moon mission this morning from more than 100,000 km away.

Recorded from South Australia as it moved through the stars of Sagittarius, Artemis appeared as a faint trace of light at around 12th magnitude. By matching its predicted position and motion against the background star field, I was able to confirm the spacecraft in the frame.

A pretty amazing thought that with a standard photography setup, it is possible to photograph a human spacecraft quietly travelling through deep space on its journey around the Moon.οΏ½οΏ½
