Happy New Year! 🎉

I hope that you are well, happy, enjoying the sunshine and that you have managed to have a fabulous Christmas with your family and loved ones. I hope that you are still on holidays and get to have another week of being present.

If I photographed you, your family, your partner, your event, your wedding, your engagement, your birthday, your business, your workplace or anything else this past year, then, thank you. Thank you so much for your support and your continued support. It means the world to me and I couldn't do what I do without you.

I want to take this opportunity to just BE HERE NOW. Let go of the big picture, just for a moment. Open to the now picture. Sometimes, all we need to do is see what has always been there or what is now there in its place. And, that’s my invitation to you, in these first moments of the brand new year.

If thinking big and deep feels too much right now, keep it simple.

Notice your slow breaths, the breeze through the leaves, the beauty and smell of the rose, the new freckles on a face, the clouds that keeps changing, the sounds outside, the shadows that are lingering, the condensation on the chilled glass, the tan line on your finger, the wonderful light in the morning and the beautiful light in the evening, the crash of the waves, the sand in your toes, the splash of the ice cube into your cold fizzy drink, the taste of the last piece of the Christmas dark chocolate, the twinkle of the lights on the Christmas tree - soon to be packed away. Notice the simple fact that you are here, present, with the capacity to be aware, be loved. And to feel alive.

I love this time of year because it does allow us to be present. Present with those who we love and grateful for those people in our lives.

So for now, do just that, because I have a feeling that 2026 is going to be a big year for us all.
