Some memories live in our hearts forever, but even the most beautiful ones can slowly fade with time. That’s why I believe in capturing the little details, too. 🤍

The flowers you held, the shoes you wore, the delicate lace, the little things you carefully chose to be part of your love story… Things that might seem ordinary today, but will become extraordinary memories years from now.

The movie of Fiona & Jacob 🎞️
Directed by yours truly ✌️😎

Sometimes I wonder how lucky I am to call this my job. To witness real love stories, capture all those little moments, and turn them into memories that feel like scenes from a movie.

And Fiona & Jacob’s story? Oh, it’s definitely one for the big screen. ✨

Their love story began many years ago, and somewhere along the way, life took Fiona all the way to Australia. Yep, Australia, not Austria. The one with kangaroos. We don’t have those here, people! 🤭🦘

Long distance, different time zones, countless ups and downs, and probably a whole lot of missing each other. But somehow, love always found its way back.

Fast forward a few chapters, and there they were, exchanging vows surrounded by their favourite people at Fernblick Fernblick ,a dreamy little venue in Austria that looks like it came straight out of a romantic comedy.

And the sweetest plot twist? Fiona’s Australian host family travelled all the way to Austria to celebrate with them! 🥹
A little bit of laughter, a few happy tears, golden sunlight, and two people who kept choosing each other through every chapter.

Some love stories deserve to be made into movies. This one deserved every frame. 🎞️🤍

An English countryside romance? A French château wedding? Think again. This little fairytale happened right here in Austria. ✨

Hidden in the Austrian countryside, Schloss Haggenberg feels like a little piece of another century. Weathered walls, old-world charm, wildflowers and the kind of golden light that makes everything feel like a scene from a romantic movie.

And right here, two beautiful souls, S & G, promised each other forever. 🤍

Surrounded by their favorite people and their four-legged best friend Hermes (who absolutely nailed his role as the coolest ring bearer 🐶), they celebrated a day filled with love, laughter and all those little in-between moments that make a story truly theirs.

A little bit of magic, a whole lot of love, and memories captured on both digital and 35mm film. 🎞️ Some love stories really do feel like cinema.

From a movie scene to real life. 🎞️🤍

Sam & Aaron’s dream of eloping at Schloss Leopoldskron — one of the iconic filming locations from The Sound of Music — finally became reality.

And somehow, for a few hours, it really did feel like we had stepped into a movie.

Between the old books, historic rooms, golden afternoon light and quiet little moments together, these two made the entire team — their planner, florist, host, and yes, their photographer too 🙋🏻‍♀️ — laugh out loud one minute and burst into tears the next.

Especially when they started reading their vows to each other, I was supposed to photograph it but instead, I was hiding behind my camera trying not to cry. 🥲

So for making all of us laugh, cry, and completely lose our professionalism for a moment, Sam & Aaron have officially become one of my most “hated” couples ever. 🤭🤍

The kind of “hate” reserved for couples who make you feel way too much.

A little bit nostalgic, a little bit cinematic, and beautifully them. A Salzburg elopement that felt like a scene from an old movie. 🎞️✨

Cute Puffin Spamming Alert 🐧🚨

Instead of humans, let me introduce you to a couple of adorable puffins today—one of the Arctic’s most iconic bird species.

They’re known for their loyalty, lifelong devotion through monogamy, their sweet billing ritual, and the way they share the responsibility of raising their chicks. They spend almost half of the year apart at sea, yet somehow manage to reunite and maintain strong bonds for decades.

Every year, I feel incredibly blessed to spend time watching them, learning about them, and sharing another Icelandic sunset in their company.

Iceland has never been just another destination to me. It’s the land of magic, trolls, fairies, dramatic landscapes, and incredible wildlife. Every time I return, it feels a little more like home. 🇮🇸🤍

Chasing the first rays of sunlight, feeling the first breeze of the day, listening to the first songs of the birds — and then exchanging vows in front of the greatest audience P & J could ever ask for: the majestic peaks of the Dolomites. ⛰️🤍

In nature, we realize just how small we are. And when we express our love for one another in the arms of Mother Nature, we realize just how blessed we are.

With my little Bear there to witness it all and share in the joy, P & J — and even me behind the camera — were truly on cloud nine.

We said goodbye at the end of the day, but a little piece of our hearts will always remain tied together somewhere high in the Dolomites. 🤍

Sky, wind, high cliffs, wildflowers and us. 🌼

When we first visited Iceland back in 2017, we had no idea that this land would stay so deeply in our hearts — or that somehow, it would always feel a little like coming home.

The Westfjords were among our very first impressions of Iceland. Years later, when we planned our elopement trip to celebrate our 10th anniversary, we knew we wanted to return to the place where part of our love for this country began.

And once again, it gave us everything: Endless skies, wind playing with my dress, fields covered in tiny wildflowers, dramatic cliffs disappearing into the ocean… and just the two of us in the middle of it all. We kept saying, “Okay, one last photo…” and then taking another. And another. 🤭

In the end, we simply didn’t want to leave. Maybe that’s what Iceland has always been for us — not just somewhere we travel to, but somewhere we keep finding little pieces of ourselves. 🇮🇸🤎
