ren, Family and Weddings photography. As I believe little ones will are more comfortable in familiar surroundings, I offer photo sessions directly at your place. For newborn photogrtaphy, this setting makes breaks for feeding, nappy changes, etc. Of course, photo sessions can also be done at special locations of yours, such as a park, beach, etc. Most sessions last 1 - 2 hours, newborn photography takes a little longer but there is no set time. Newborns are just scrumptious! They are so delicate yet have such definite personalities!! The best timing for newborn photography is the first 14 days after birth. Unless you prefer otherwise, I do newborn photography sessions directly at your place as this proofed to be the most comfortable and relaxed area for the baby as well as for the parents/family. There is no need to prepare anything, my mobile studio includes an enormous variety of gorgeous bonnets, headbands, wraps, overalls, etc. If you have any special interest/wish regarding props, let me know! They are so delicate yet have such definite personalities!!! I have a mobile studio for newborns that I bring to your place for the photography shoot. I use natural light only, where possible. Don't worry about having to have props for newborn photos as I have an ENORMOUS Variety of gorgeous bonnets, headbands, wraps, cute baby boys overalls etc. FAMILY
My suggestion for family shots is outside at your favorite locations - in a park or somewhere u like to spend time and relax. Wear what you are comfortable in. Out of my experience it can look a little stilted at times if you all wear the same colors. T-shirts with large logos or graphics on the front have the disadvantage that they might date out quickly and take away attention from your face....
Bring along a hat or scarf - even your childs' scooter or favorite toys if you wish, to use as props. The full shoot (up to 2 hrs) can allow for changes in clothing and setting. WORKING WITH CHILDREN
As a children's photographer, and the proud aunty of 7 kids - I know it is really important to make them feel at ease in order to capture the perfect photo. I am happy to pause the session for them to have a little snack or a little time out for a chat or play a game with them if needed. You might even find me being silly just so I get a laugh for your pic - (yes I have chased kids around the trees in the park during session) Please feel free to bring along any special toy, bike or any sentimental prop you wish to be in the photograph.
