I’m a Portuguese photographer, drawn to people and the stories we share across cultures. My work is shaped by travel, connection, and lived experience.

A new four-year journey begins soon. As a photographer it is important to capture not just moments, but the deeper narratives of life that highlight the positivity, growth, and lessons learned along the way. Every person has a story worth telling, and I believe in the power of photography to reflect the depth and richness of those stories. My goal is to create images that inspire, uplift, and remi

nd us all of the incredible journeys we are on, emphasizing the wisdom, love, and triumphs that make life meaningful. I'm very grateful to everyone who has trusted me with their life stories in countries like Mexico, Iran, Indonesia and Austria, to name a few. Some of these stories were part of past exhibitions, some will be part of future endeavors and others I will be sharing along the way. The Vertical Village
As our cities climb even higher, we do not lose only land but the closeness of life once lived. Towers may scrape the skies but our roots remain in the simple ground of community.

Some of these towers now hold tens of thousands of inhabitants, vertical villages rising into the sky. But I wonder, how high can we go?

I had longed dreamed of visiting Qufu, the birthplace of Confucius. This year when I finally crossed the threshold of the Confucius Temple, I did not expect to find such deep devotion, so many people making offerings, asking for blessings, and paying their respects.
