Perched on a weathered branch in the heart of Hwange National Park, two southern yellow-billed hornbills pause mid-hunt — golden beaks proudly displaying their catch. The afternoon light wraps around their patterned feathers, every detail crisp — from the bold black-and-white markings to the flash of red around the eye. One stands slightly higher, alert and regal; the other balances effortlessly, prize in beak, as if posing for the perfect frame.
