Lulamba Ward Councillor Samuel Lupito has thanked Virtous Women Foundation of Lulamba for the donation of a Solar kit to Maternity Ward at Lulamba Health Post.

He said the donation will help the staff in Maternity Ward to provide light as sometimes the clinic has no power because of loadshedding.

Speaking after the donation, Chairperson for Virtuous Women Foundation Mrs Phiri said the group was moved to donate the Solar Kit because the staff in the Maternity Ward uses candles and phones for lighting during loadshedding.

And Lulamba Health Post Sister In-charge Mrs Chisanga has thanked the group and edged other women groups in Lulamba to emulate Virtous Women foundation for this good gesture.
