Am neither PF nor UPND not even a politician, but what l seem not to comprehend is why as a people we would say we can't afford to prolong the national mourning and we decided to call it off.
Family members decide to proceed with their plans to bury and then boom, we pursue them with a lawsuit preventing them from burying.
My questions are:-
1. Why block the burial when we said we can't afford to mourn forever and had to cut short the days we declared for national morning?
2. By blocking the family from burying, are we not ourselves by so doing prolonging the very mourning we said we can't afford to prolong?
3. Shouldn't we have allowed the burial to be done so as to end the already prolonged mourning?
Somebody make me understand something. Don't talk about ECL being a government trophy or anything that he was, am sure we knew all that when we were saying that we can't afford to mourn forever.
