"Livelihoods for Coexistence" | For communities living alongside wildlife, conservation is not just a moral choice - it’s an economic one.
Where livelihoods are fragile, the costs of coexistence are real. From crop loss to climate pressure - often leaving people with few options and wildlife at risk.
This episode explores how practical, community-driven solutions are helping reduce that risk—building resilience, creating opportunity, and making conservation a viable choice.
Because when conservation works for people, it lasts for wildlife.

"Society" | Throughout Africa, communities living alongside wildlife are at the centre of conservation.

But coexistence comes with real challenges - conflict, uncertainty, and the daily pressures of living at the edge of protected areas.

This episode explores how community partnerships, education, youth programmes, and local leadership are helping reshape relationships with wildlife - turning conservation from conflict into shared responsibility.

Because when communities are included, conservation gains its strongest allies.

"Natural Security" | Law enforcement teams daily protect the landscapes that are our national infrastructure - our global natural security. From rangers on the ground to aerial support, from detection dogs to data-driven intelligence, conservation is built through layers of defence working as one. This is natural security - where presence, technology, and coordination come together not just to respond to threats, but to prevent them. Because without protection, nothing else can stand.

"A Connected Landscape" | Across Southern Africa, wild spaces stretch far beyond borders - where people and wildlife share landscapes. From conflict and habitat loss to the growing threat of wildlife crime, the challenges are complex - and deeply connected. Because conservation isn’t just about protecting animals. It’s about people. Livelihoods. Knowledge. And the choices that shape them all. This is where the story begins - where every challenge and solution is linked. This is The Conservation Link.

We are excited to finally be launching "The Conservation Link"

Across Southern Africa, conservation is more than protecting wildlife - it’s about people, livelihoods, and the systems that connect them. Filmed across multiple landscapes and countries, The Conservation Link explores conservation - where natural security, community, economics, and science work together as one. From rangers on the ground and researchers, to communities socioeconomic security, this series reveals the connections that make conservation possible - and why no single solution can stand alone.

Another short take from our film in collaboration with Nsumbu Tanganyika Conservation Programme, "Abashimba - The Return of Lions to Nsumbu"

Preparing the park for the return of lions started years in advance with ensuring that prey diversity and availability were sufficient to sustain the lions return.

Earlier this year, we had the privilege of documenting the translocation of African wild dogs back into Matusadona National Park. A significant milestone for conservation in the region.

This achievement reflects the dedication and expertise of an exceptional team. African Wildlife Management and Conservation led the veterinary procedures with great professionalism, while Cole Du Plessis of the Endangered Wildlife Trust provided critical guidance on safeguarding the pack’s social integrity and ensuring a carefully planned and successful release.

A powerful example of the strength of collaboration in conservation led by Zimparks African Parks and Matusadona National Park

Our friends from Remote Africa Safaris asked us to create an activity based short film on what the Luangwa Valley is best known for - the walking safari. The brief was left open to creative interpretation but it needed to reflect the pace of the walking safari, the life changing encounters and the proximity to nature.

Being on foot, in the Luangwa Valley, is all about slowing down and connecting with the landscape.Client: Remote Africa SafarisProduced by: Conservation Conn...
