In memory of our beloved Petrus.
We lost a family member last week.

He was our happiness manager as we gave him his title in the early days of Safari Susters adventures. Accompanying us on photoshoots from the karoo to the bush. Was welcomed on ‘not pet friendly’ destinations because everyone loved him.

He was my best friend, my loyal companion, adventure buddy, pure joy and unconditional love. He was my home.

He will be remembered from the Klein Karoo to Klaserie, Stilbaai to Wilderness.

Gentle soul, lion hart and beautiful being.

The African Harrier Hawk is the only raptor with a double-jointed leg - built specifically for this. Hanging off the side of a tree, reaching blind into a Fork-tailed Drongo’s nest.
