This photo is my favorite out of a shoot I did for an Online Support Program for the partners of people with spinal cord injuries. Developed by a close friend whose husband has been in a wheelchair since a car accident in 2003, the program addresses basic topics such as which wheelchair and how to deal with bedsores to how to support your child in the first hospital visit and more. My friend's determination to help others and to provide comfort and support where she had none is truly inspiring and her approach to caring for her husband was the motivation behind the shoot. I wanted to show how love enables people to overcome daily struggles.
