It’s easy to forget who you are.

To forget your strength.

Your presence.

But a powerful portrait has a way of bringing that back.

But somewhere along the journey… I lost my way.

Like many business owners, I started believing that I needed to do more… offer more… be more for everyone.

So I diluted what I do.

I offered too many types of sessions.
I lowered my prices.
I tried to make it “easier” for people to say yes.

Because I thought that’s how you grow.

But in doing that…

I slowly moved away from the very thing that made this work meaningful in the first place.

The transformation.
The connection.
The purpose.

And I had to be honest with myself:

I was no longer building what I was called to build.

So I made a decision.

To stop.
To realign.
To return to what truly matters.

As time went on, something unexpected started happening…

I was invited to photograph at women’s retreats — spaces led by an incredible pastor and her husband, where women came together to reconnect, heal, and grow.

And behind my camera… I witnessed something powerful.

Women arriving tired.
Overwhelmed.
Disconnected from themselves.

And slowly… over time… something would shift.

You could see it in their posture.
In their eyes.
In the way they carried themselves.

And I realised something that changed everything for me:

Women don’t need to be “fixed.”

They need to be reminded.

Reminded that they are strong.
That they are worthy.
That they are still her… even after everything life has asked of them.

That’s when I knew — this was never just a service I offer.

It’s something I am called to do.
