🏛️ KSD MUNICIPALITY STRENGTHENS INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITY THROUGH ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE REVIEW WORKSHOP

King Sabata Dalindyebo (KSD) Municipality has convened an important Organisational Structure Review Workshop at the Nkululekweni Council Chambers, bringing together key stakeholders to assess and strengthen the Municipality’s organisational capacity.

The workshop forms part of ongoing efforts to ensure that KSD Municipality has a fit-for-purpose, affordable, effective and service-centred organisational structure that is responsive to the needs of communities and aligned with the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and the Municipality’s strategic priorities.

🎙️ In his welcoming remarks, Executive Mayor Cllr. M.S. Dudumayo emphasised that the organisational structure review must go beyond mere compliance.

«“This process must be about building an organisation that is practical, sustainable and capable of responding effectively to the needs of our communities.”»

The Executive Mayor highlighted the importance of clearly defined roles and responsibilities, effective governance, institutional accountability and the filling of critical vacancies to strengthen organisational performance and improve service delivery.

He further encouraged all stakeholders to engage constructively, openly and responsibly throughout the review process, stressing that the final organisational structure must contribute meaningfully towards building a more responsive, efficient and effective Municipality.
