A recycling project: my first attempt at converting a suitcase into a seat and my second attempt at upholstery.

Everything I used in this project was recycled.
The suitcase I picked up next to the road;
The wood came from shelving and paneling discarded when SARS redid their PE offices;
found some boards lying around which was left over from building nest boxes for birds;
The upholstery materials came courtesy of old bed pillows, an old blanket and material samples.
Thee only bits that was new was the nails, screws, wood glue and varnish.
