They say the days are long, but the years are short… but honestly, it feels more like the blink of an eye.

One minute you're bringing them home, and the next, you're walking through the Cape Town winelands celebrating their very first year of life.

Looking at this beautiful family of three with grandparents, I was struck by how effortlessly they fit into each other's arms.

From the way Dad looks down with so much pride to the quiet, exhausted magic of a mama-hug nap at the end of the day, these are the fleeting moments that deserve to be frozen in time.

We spent the afternoon wandering down dusty vineyard paths and capturing the quiet, slow love that builds a family.

There’s something so incredibly soft, moody, and beautiful about this season — the light is gentler, the beaches are quieter, and everything just feels a little more magical.

I did a shoot with my girls yesterday and honestly… I’m obsessed.

The tones, the textures, the feeling — it’s something summer just can’t replicate.

And right now, Strand has the most stunning piece of driftwood — it’s raw, artistic, and makes for the dreamiest backdrop.

It won’t be there forever, which makes this moment even more special ✨
