What an incredible day at Guinevere Guest Farm in Tulbagh! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Hardly a breath of wind, not too hot, and just one of those beautiful days where everything comes together.

Bêne looked absolutely stunning, and that laugh of hers is seriously contagious! 😄 These two just have so much fun together. Always laughing, always smiling, and clearly loving every moment of being around each other.

We had the pleasure of capturing both the photos and film, and I can’t wait to share their wedding video with you soon!

Sometimes it’s the quieter moments between everything happening that make for some of my favourite photographs. Just Hannah, that beautiful dress, a bouquet in hand, and the gorgeous surroundings of Cavalli Estate in Stellenbosch.

The last 3 photos show EXACTLY why I always give my brides this little walking tip! 😍

One foot slightly in front of the other, crossing just a little as you walk. It’s such a simple adjustment, but the difference it makes in photos is beautiful.

And here’s the little photographer’s secret: timing the shot just as the legs cross.

Try it next time you’re in front of a camera. You’ll thank me later! 🤍

The weather had plans of its own. Fortunately, so did Keegan & Cornelia. 😄

A rainy wedding day at the beautiful Die Woud in the Overberg, with just enough breaks in the clouds for an outdoor ceremony, our couple shoot, and all those moments we’d hoped to capture.

And somehow, the timing couldn’t have worked out better!

There was something so lovely about this day. The rain, the beautiful forest setting, the laughter, and two people who simply got on with enjoying every minute of getting married.

Keegan & Cornelia, thank you for trusting me with your day. What a privilege to capture these memories for you both. 🤍

A little reminder that you don’t need perfect weather to have an absolutely beautiful wedding.

Sometimes a strong wind helps.

Was this taken at a real wedding? YES. Absolutely.

Not a styled shoot. No models. No elaborate setup. Just a bride, a ridiculously windy wedding day, and a few seconds where everything came together.

The clouds, the light breaking through at exactly the right moment, the wind catching her dress... You couldn’t have planned it better if you tried.

And that’s the thing about wedding photography. Sometimes the conditions are far from perfect, but somehow they give you something you never could have imagined.

This was one of those moments.

Sometimes you just have to be in the right place, at the right time, and know when to press the shutter. 📸

Stefan & Nicolé | A little glimpse of their wedding day 🎥

What a weekend! Stefan and Nicolé couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting to celebrate their wedding.

De Hoop Nature Reserve, tucked away in the Overberg, really is something special. But as beautiful as the surroundings were, it was the people, the laughter, the emotions and the atmosphere that made this day one to remember.
