"My Muse" is almost 8 years old.
I can not believe it. We relocated and live in the most beautiful Stellenbosch now. Where these gorgeous locations are on my doorstep, for any type of photoshoot.

There is STILL life in my Fine Art Still-life Portraits!
I just haven't had the time to post them.

I am starting a new "Light & Bright" Series.

As you all know, I normally have these Dark Moody still-life portraits, but I have decided to have a series that is Light, White, and Fresh.

As mentioned earlier.... all my "Paintery Portraits" are images and concepts, that I created in my head first. I then discuss it with the client. I carefully execute the shoot, by styling it in a creative way that tells a unique story of the person in front of the lens.

Thereafter, I edit the image, remove some blemishes, and enhance or reduce the colours and textures. Thereafter I will digitally paint over the Image I created.

I realise there are many Photographers, that do amazing work and I believe that one should have a unique style, signature, and unique selling point that sets your work apart from the other hundreds of fellow professionals in your Industry.

I think that these Painterly Portraits are definitely my Unique Selling Point, which hopefully sets me apart from other Professional Photographers. I do also realise that this might not be the Art Form for everybody, but it certainly makes my Passion come alive by doing what I love in this unique manner.
