🏌️‍♀️ Gabriella Centre 4th Annual Golf Day ⛳

On Friday, 24 October, the Gabriella Centre hosted its 4th Annual Golf Day at Somerset West Golf Club, and we are delighted to share that it was a fantastic success. The day was filled with great energy and so much generosity, all in support of the children and young adults with profound special needs in our care.

Thank you to everyone who participated , it was a pleasure to welcome back many familiar faces and to meet new supporters joining us for the first time.

A very big thank you to Rick from Abrie De Koning Photography for capturing the essence of the day and thank you to our hole sponsors Stellenbosch Wine, N & W Logistics and Mountsure Brokers for adding such enthusiasm and fun to the day, and to all our prize and auction donors for your wonderful contributions that helped make the event both exciting and impactful.

The funds raised will directly support the Gabriella Centre’s mission to provide full-time care, therapy, and education to children and young adults with profound physical and intellectual challenges.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year and to seeing some new faces join this growing community of supporters who continue to make a difference.

I had the absolute joy of photographing little Petra’s 1st birthday, and let me tell you—this girl is a star! From the moment she flashed that adorable smile, I knew we were in for something special.

And the cake smash? Well, Petra went all in. It wasn’t just a little mess—she completely demolished that cake, frosting everywhere, and honestly, it was the best thing to witness. The way she giggled and played in the mess was just priceless. There’s something about that first birthday milestone that is so sweet, and I’m so grateful I got to capture it for Petra and her family.
