On a hot summer's day of 23 January Rickus & Michanelle chose the beautiful Treeferns Trout Lodge in Dullstroom for their Viking themed wedding. Michanelle brought all the guests to tears when she arrived in her gorgeous ivory lace wedding gown on a beautiful stallion, while the wind carried the Norwegain wedding march softly through the eucalyptus trees. It was such an honor to be part of this outstanding young couples' wedding weekend and I wish them all the best for many years to come.

On a hot summer’s day of 17 October, Deon & Maxine chose Willow Greek’s open church venue for their small and intimate wedding. The beautiful Maxine replaced the traditional wedding march with Hillsong’s “What a beautiful name”, and when the song started to play and she appeared in the door in her champagne undertone wedding gown. The emotions started to show on Deon’s face, a man who you could truly see during their worship in the ceremony to have love for God. With a soft breeze that started to blow over all the guests, it was almost as if God wanted to say… “I will bless this couple because they are noble children of mine”.

When Kathy Vorster,the wedding co-ordinator from Lake Umuzi in Secunda asked me if I would be the photographer for her daughter's wedding,I had no idea what I was letting myself into. Gill who stays in Washington DC had truly a flamboyant,outspoken and sparkling personality as her mother described.This relaxed and friendly bride renewed her wedding vows in front of family and friends to Thomas Froats, a handsome young attorney from USA under the old willow tree next to the lake.....and when she walked down the aisle in her elegant ivory patterned lace wedding gown,she couldn't care less that she had forgotten her bouquet in the honeymoon suite.To capture all their special moments on camera was an absolute pleasure and an act that I will redo any time for these to lovely people.Thomas & Gill may God bless you for all your days to come.

On this bitter cold summers day of 20 October 2018 , the couple Wyne & Lerine selected luminous lemon yellow and silver colours, which brought sunlight and happiness to the faces of all the guests, and when the first sound of the wedding martch started to fill the air in the little church,this young bride surprised her father by unrolling a special printed carpet with the following words..... "Dad of all the walks we've ever taken, I will remember this one for ever", definitely words that brought tears to the eyes of this proud farther's face.Wyne & Lerine may God bless your marraige , and be the pillar in your live for all your days to come.

For this young couple Sakkie and Terina du Toit , the weather man promised heavy rain fall on their big day of 20 January 2018. The Couple pledge their wow’s in the beautiful church in Charl Cilliers in Mpumalanga. Terina looked radiant in her mind blowing snow white wedding gown and cowboy boots and with all the wedding drama …… Bridesmaid’s dresses that had to be replaced only two days before the wedding , and rings not at the church on time. The couple was very relaxed and all their beauty and love for each other was visible with the capturing of every single photo.

On the sunny afternoon of 4 November Alicia arrived at the little Willow Creek Chapel outside Trichardt to be wed to Dewald... the love of her life. The bride looked radiant in her snow white wedding gown, while she was walking down the aisle, and when the couple exchanged their vows to one another, the wind was blowing a soft breeze over them, it was almost as if God was saying... As a photographer it is always nice to be honoured in being the one to capture special occasions. But when my son Branden requested that i must take the matric farewell photos of him and Monique his lovely companion and close friend, it brought tears in my eyes.Branden is a remarkable young man with an outstanding art talent, and his love for God can be seen in his personality. May God bless you my boy in every single day for the years to come..... People this is my boy and I am deeply and honestly proud to be called " his father".

With the morning’s first sunlight announcing “the big day” for Stephen and Bianca, the couple that was almost killed in a car accident a few months before…. they could not have been happier. Bianca and Stephen looked radiant and although Bianca was visibly in pain at some stages she was still enthusiastic to give her full co-operation and a beautiful smile to capture all their special moments, for Stephen on the other hand.… well he was as happy as a guy that have just win the lotto and was grateful that God have spare their lives so they could be together for ever until death do they part.

When the sun sets on the eve before Wessel & Bianca’s wedding day, there was no doubt in their minds that this is what they both desired…. Bianca blew everybody’s breath away when she appeared in the church door, wearing a beautiful ivory coloured wedding gown embroiled with little red flowers. We had so much fun with the photo shoot it was actually sad to let them go, and a day that was promised to be filled with rain and thunderstorms turned out to be day full of sunshine. This made me realised once again that there will be storms in our lives.….. , but God will always send sunshine after the rain.

Dawie and Bianca special day in the meadows of the high field started with wind that was blowing us of our feet, the final touches for the ceremony under the Eucalyptus trees were only been done minutes before Bianca arrived, but no impediment could not be overcome with a smile and a positive attitude. Their smiles connected when Bianca walked down the aisle and when Gert handed over his daughter there was peace in his heart that he did not lose his daughter that day but gain a son.
