Thank you, ARRC and SFW, for making days like this possible.

The ARRC Animal Relief dog project works across several fronts. Through monthly outreach programmes, they provide vaccinations, deworming, and tick and flea treatments, alongside a weekly emergency clinic for animals in need.

Regular home checks with their veterinarian also allow the team to follow up on treatments, monitor previously identified cases and provide ongoing care - helping to improve animal health and reduce the spread of disease across the community.

ARRC Animal Relief is a registered non-profit bringing veterinary care and community support to rural South Africa, particularly in underserved areas where the nearest veterinarian can be more than 55km away. By caring for animals, they’re also helping protect the health and wellbeing of people and the wildlife that share these communities.

Grateful to have been part of a day that reminds us that sometimes, the smallest acts of care can make the biggest difference. 🐾
