This year I decided to do things differently.

Last week I had a quick client. Unprepared....
I like to be prepared, but I agreed.

So the plan was laid out and the plan did not come to light as planned, but we made a plan. The car that was planned never showed up. But that did not create a moment of disappointment. it created a moment to think outside the box.

Boy, oh boy, this did not disappoint. Monjenique is such a beautiful soul. Full of laughter and enjoyment. This was never a plan about perfection. It was a plan that, during unplanned circumstances, joy can still be found. The wind did not want to be on our side but that did not stop the fun.

There is a reason I focus on Candid Photography. We all want to have these pictures and photos that tell a perfect story, but that is not what photography is all about. It is about capturing real laughter. Real connection. The real you.

It was a privilege to capture the Authentic Monjenique.

Happy 30th Birthday!

I am not a Fan of taking Photos of the matric farewell. I have my reasons. But boy, am I glad I said yes to Janel and Jordan.

Two beautiful souls. She looked like Cinderella. Literally.
The soft colors complemented them both. The confidence in Jordan was so beautiful.

I enjoyed every minute that I spent with them and their families. They were absolutely authentic in themselves. If the sun did not play against my time, I would've spent hours upon hours with them at the beautiful venue they chose.

It was a privilege to take your photos.

Good Luck with the last exams in your School Era.

One day, the photos you almost didn't take will become the memories you treasure most.

The perfect moment rarely announces itself. It's hidden in the laughter, the milestones, the quiet moments, and the everydat memories we often take for granted.

Capture the moment. Be present. Make memories that last a lifetime
