More affordable dSLR cameras and high-resolution mobile devices have made many people believe that they are photographers, however there is a lot more to photography than the device used to capture an image or scene. There’s a huge difference between a snapshot and a photograph and you have to ask yourself what it is that you seek – a bland 2-dimensional image, or an evocative emotional image that captures the viewer’s attention. To the individual – I understand that you want that “special moment” captured and immortalized, showing the emotion of the moment, displaying who you are and having it memorialized so you can proudly share it with your friends, family and peers. To the corporate – Having spent many years involved with large corporate marketing, I know you need images as proof of ex*****on for the events funded, and should these images be of a high quality they will better display the success of your efforts. They not only make you and your department look good, but will leave you stock images that can be used in a multitude of other areas, with the confidence that quality and resolution meet the highest standards. Should you require product specific photography, rest assured that I can produce the type of images that will do you brand every justice. To the athlete and sponsors – The discipline of sports photography is a little more specialized. While I’m confident that any pro photographer will capture good images, it’s the photographer that understands the sport that will create those truly amazing shots. It is here that my love for motorsport and extreme sports comes to the fore (as you’ll see in the galleries). I’ve worked with a number of internationally acclaimed extreme sport athletes to produce images of them pushing the boundaries in their chosen disciplines, and have worked with many of their sponsors to record their brands in action. Be it the athlete performing or a sponsored event, you can be sure the quality will match that of your brand. Not only do the images I create capture the moment they are delivered quickly. I personally don’t like to take on a job when I’ve outstanding edits from a previous one. Further editing and effects can be arranged at any time should the need arise.
