Yip, It's here again - Already !!!!! ( Christmas is nearly upon us )

Time: 18:45 for 19:15
Where: Ivok Studio. / The Home Of Photo.
Brightwater Commons, Randburg ( Parking at the rear, South West entrance.
What's Happening: For some excitement, the Joburg PhotoWalkers will be showing a small selection of their recent outings. This bunch of photographers meet on a regular basis and go off and shoot - FOR THEMSELVES !!
They decide on a venue, meet on a weekend or after hours. - and shoot (and then, I think, have a little nosh somewhere.)
This is the stuff that feeds our souls, as I'm sure that most of us set out to be photographers for the love of the image and not as a sure-fire way to make an honest living. Ably led and inspired by Mark Straw, this is really something we should all be doing !
It's a brilliant initiative and I'm really looking forward to being inspired. Myself, I'm a little bit reticent / lazy / fearful etc of waking up early on a Sunday morning or going out at night and strolling around town or the station or Yeoville or a klein dorpie by myself. There's safety in numbers and it's a joll !

Please RSVP for next Tuesday. There's lots of restaurants at Brightwater Commons (Ex Randburg Waterfront), so get there early and grab a Double B. ( A Beer and a Bite ).
