"Imitation is the highest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness," Words attributed to Oscar Wilde & Charles Caleb Colton...& in my opinion they sure knew what they were talking about.

Knowing this, I still can't help to get irritated. So my question is; Fellow photographers, does it bother you when other photographers try and copy your photos over and over again?

I guess I am intrigued to know which one of your beautiful photograps will be copied next Christoff Theunissen Photography. Though I respect your viewpoint of not bothering about it and just leaving it "in the rear view mirror" so to say.

Just outside Nieuwoudtville, a celestial river spills across the silent dark. The Milky Way unfurls like a banner of stardust, its glowing core bridging the gap between the infinite and the earth.
Below, ancient Quiver Trees stand as weathered sentinels. Their golden, geometric bark and reaching crowns seem to mirror the constellations above, rooted in the arid Hantam Karoo soil while stretching toward the light of a thousand distant suns.
It is a moment where time dissolves—where the pulse of the universe meets the stillness of the stone.

Under the swirling canopy of countless stars, the March Lilies of Nieuwoudtville stand in silent, vivid bloom, mirroring the celestial dance in their earthly blush. The night sky spins a timeless tale above the rooted beauty of the landscape.

Between the rugged shore and the infinite deep,
A mirror of glass where the ocean's ghosts sleep.
Moss-clad stones rise like ancient, silent peaks,
While the silver air of the morning speaks.
A lonely rail leads into the mist,
Where the salt and the sky have tenderly kissed.

Nestled deep within the verdant embrace of Harold Porter National Botanical Garden, where ancient trees reach for the light, the upper waterfall of Leopard's Kloof descends in a soft, ethereal veil. A gentle cascade, it whispers secrets of the mountain, its cool waters swirling into a foamy pool below, a hidden gem of the Cape.
