During my recent trip to China, I took a side tour to Zhangjiajie, what an incredible place. Not yet a "western" tourist attraction, but an absolute tourist attraction for the local population. Your journey starts with an 7.5kilometer cable car ride up the mountain, several walkways including the famous glass walkway on the mountain will keep you busy for a day, the temple on-top of the mountain is coloured just like all the other temples in China, but it is clear that this place has not yet been commercialised like other famous places in China and it feels a lot more authentic. Once you get to Heavens gate there is 999 steps angled at the steepest point at 45%, once you reach the bottom of the stairs you take a bus ride back to town, the road has 99 turns with some of the most amazing views from a road that will keep you on the edge of you seat for most of the ride!

How do you choose? I do like all three versions of this picture. I've always thought that I enjoy photography, but I was wrong. I enjoy the creative part of post processing much more. Being able to create something bigger with your pictures is very satisfying. Thanks to Pieter En Chirissa Bier for allowing me to to go wild with your little ones pictures and being patient, I wish people would understand the amount of time it takes to create pictures like these. I'm not a pro at all, but are very thankful to be able to try, and enjoy the process.

Busy working on a project, I normally choose not to do baby shoots because my editing is normally very "hard and dark" and I will totally give it to the masters of baby photography, you must be a total wizard in order to do baby photography! However with the rifle reverence the dark overtone kinda looks ok...I think! Pieter En Chirissa Bier

Every year around October the Taschner family at Ludwig's Roses put together amazing flower displays and this year again did not disappoint. Amazing Volkswagen vehicles were the main part of this years display. Check out the Ludwig's Roses Rose Festival and also enjoy a nice rose milkshake at the The Rose Shed and Kitchen Thanks to Anja Taschner Heike Taschner for allowing me some early access to shoot the amazing display!

I feel so privileged to have been this couple's "private" photographer for the last couple of years. Starting with their surprise engagement shoot all the way thru to this "Almost Here" shoot. This couple has a very personal connection to me. Every shoot were so much fun! I hope and trust that there will be many more shoots to come in future!
