Some more images of the lions walking, and then we decided to take a break at a very nice view and took some photos of this too.

When we were back on the road we saw a Giraffe that had a funny looking ossicone, even though his ossicones aren't bald this is a male giraffe, I think because of the injury and his 'horn' growing next to his face he isn't able to fight anymore and therefore have more hairs on his ossicone.

Some more cool sightings, a Kori Bustard not 1 but 4 of them walking around together. Then also 4 female Lionesses walking across the road, which happed in a few seconds and then they were gone.

Must say we were lucky.

Kruger National Park - Palaborwa Gate - Orpen Gate

We did another Kruger trip, where we saw some other animals, because it was very cloudy some other animals made it on to the camera roll. Firstly some Elephants crossing the road, some Giraffes and the Red-billed Oxpeckers enjoying a meal and a free ride.

Then walking very slow in the road a small Leopard Tortoise.

We went to HESC in Hoedspruit to see what we could find and learn about, one of the coolest things to see are the King Cheetahs.

Genetic mutation: The "king" pattern is caused by a recessive genetic mutation in the Taqpep gene, the same gene that determines coat patterns in tabby cats.
