I’m usually not one to jump on trends, but this one felt a little too relatable to pass up. 🤎
Because there’s a whole side of being a photographer + running a small business that doesn’t always make it onto Instagram.
Sometimes I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing and I’m just figuring it out as I go. Sometimes I disappear from social media for a bit. Sometimes business is quiet. Sometimes I compare myself to everyone else and wonder if my work is good enough.
And sometimes… I just need a little break.
Even from something I genuinely, wholeheartedly love.
I think it’s easy to look at someone’s Instagram and see the beautiful weddings, the pretty galleries, the happy clients and think, wow, they’ve got it all figured out.
Spoiler: I really don’t. 😂
There’s so much more behind a small business than what makes it onto this little square on your phone. The doubt, the slower seasons, the learning curves, the days where you question everything... and somehow, alongside all of that, still feeling ridiculously grateful that this is what you get to do.
So here’s your little reminder that it’s okay if your business doesn’t look perfect all the time.
And honestly… I think it’s kinda chic to be real about it. 🥹🤎✨
