One of the best 2 hours I have had on an engagement session. Tess & Alistair flew in from Dubai to do some wedding prep for Dec and we squeezed in their engagement session while they were here.

Images were shot in the most amazing location - the in JHB.

I also have so many great BTS clips from this which I will post as stories or reels sometime soon. Nevertheless these are some of favourites from their session and next time I see them is their wedding in the Kruger in December, going to be a scorcher🔥. Can’t wait!

When I met Natasha about 6-8 years ago, we became such good friends and she always said, “one day when I get married, you are going to be my wedding photographer”

I’m so happy that she met Calvyn. He is the perfect man for Natasha. It’s been an honour getting to know him and see how well he treats Natasha.

Last year November, Calvyn wanted to pop the question, he gave me a call and explained to me they are going away for a weekend to the Drakensberg and he wanted me to be there to capture the surprise proposal and surprise Natasha 😂. It all worked out perfectly. Just over a year later, i was photographing their wedding day at the Lakeside wedding venue here in Pretoria.

It’s been an incredible journey getting to know you both over the last couple years and I wish you all the best for your lives going forward together.

A little over 2 years ago I photographed Sam & Diego’s wedding and recently they welcomed a little girl into their family. I was then asked if I could do a little surprise Mother’s Day photoshoot for Sam and baby Ava.

It’s always great seeing my past clients again and seeing their families grow and I’m so happy I get to capture these memories for them.

It was so good to be back at The Barn at Redstone after 4 years. Definitely one of my personal favourite wedding venues.

Brian and Nadia booked me for their wedding day in Feb. I got to hang out with some of their guests and got to know them on a more personal level throughout the day. This was also the first wedding I nearly broke my ankle as I stepped into a ditch right as we started the couples session but I was just working on pure adrenaline in the moment that I didn’t let it bother me to much, it was a bit sore and sensitive for a week or so after, thankfully nothing serious 🙈🤣.

They were surrounded by friends and family from all over to join them and celebrate their wedding day. Some guests even flew from New Zealand. I love it when people come together to celebrate you.

Their wedding was 2 years in the making, another of my unfortunate clients affected by the pandemic, they stuck it out, and postponed it another full year to the 16th December until they could have the wedding they dreamed of with friends and family without travel restrictions or guest number restrictions. The whole week leading up to their wedding there was the most amazing weather in the Cape but on the 16th the clouds rolled in and it just rain, rain and more rain and to be honest, the moody dark skies made for some insane photos.
