The dams are nearing low volumes but the Steenbok dam in Lekwena Wildlife Estate is very deep and the water is sufficient enough for this Pied Kingfisher to dive for dinner.

This evening, in the warm glow of sunset, a Spotted Thick-knee and a Pale Chanting Goshawk were scavenging for their dinner along the open strip.
