There’s something magical about capturing the connection between two people in love.

The quiet glances. The effortless smiles. The warm golden light. The little romantic details. And that moment when everything comes together and you realize, this is the start of your forever.

For Carmen’s shoot, I wanted to capture more than just a few beautiful portraits. The subtle backlighting produces a natural lens flare and golden highlights in the hair, enhancing the romantic, cinematic quality of the shoot. ☀️

You two looked absolutely incredible together, and it was a true pleasure capturing these moments for you guys. We cannot wait for the wedding!

YOUR MATRIC DANCE. YOUR MOMENT. YOUR STORY.

There’s something magical about matric dance night.

The anticipation. The dress. The hair and makeup. The little details. The nerves before walking through the doors. And that moment when everything comes together and you realise, this is your night.

For this Hoërskool Framesby matric dance, I wanted to capture more than just a few beautiful portraits. We created images with a fashion-inspired, editorial feel, using natural window light, deep shadows, rich tones and the architecture around us to create something a little different. 📸

The result is a collection of portraits that feel elegant, cinematic and timeless, while still capturing the personality and confidence that makes a matric dance so special.

You both looked great, and it was a pleasure capturing these moments for you. 👑
