Someone asked me recently what keeps me doing this after all these years. Truth is, it's never really been about the photography itself.

It's the trust. Couples let me stand in the room while they get ready — nervous, excited, sometimes crying before the day's even started. They let me follow them through the one day they've been building toward for months, sometimes years. That's not a small thing to be given.

I've done this for over a decade now, across more than a thousand weddings, and I still feel it every time — that quiet responsibility of knowing I'm the one who gets to hold onto this day for them, long after the flowers are gone and the guests have left.

That's why I still love this job.
