Pearly beach fire, earlier today a planned fire was started to prepare for an anticipated wind direction change toward the town of Pearly beach itself. This in fact did occur as predicted and the firebreak held its line - the speed of this fire with a gentle NE breeze was still very intimidating. A big thank you to all the authorities keeping this small town safe!
