Here's the truth our youth should really know in order to make it in life, not look like they are making it. EVERY YOUTH SHOULD READ THIS! especially 18 - 28-year-olds.
1. CARS
Don't buy a car worth R400K and pay R8000 p/m for 5 years and still spend R2000 petrol p/m because after 5 years ur car will be worth half that amount, buy a small car, second hand in good condition and if possible use taxis, they only cost u +-R600 per month and instead invest that R10000 p/m for 5 years and it will most probably be a million or close to it.
Ppl where I come from celebrate paying cars like it's a major achievement when it's actually a major loss over the years. Let me not sugarcoat it, THEY CELEBRATE DEBT. Imagine u work 40 hour's a week and 30% of ur salary goes towards paying off a depreciating liability.
2. APARTMENTS
If u have the option to still stay home, STAY HOME AND SAVE!
If u want to stay alone, don't rush to stay alone in a 3 bedroom apartment where the rent costs R14000 p/m if u can stay in a 1 bedroom apartment or even bachelors if possible where all ur household expenses cost just R5000 - R6500 p/m. Don't rush to stay in fancy places. Buy spending R7000p/m, u can invest the other half and in 5 years u'll be close u buying ur own apartment cash. ASSETS BEFORE LIABILITIES!
3. JOBS
Be humble and smart, if it's not the passion u are choosing, then choose something that pays more and work hard. Some ppl prefer to be seen wearing suits to work every day only to earn R8000 p/m and laugh at those wearing overalls to work and making R40000 p/m.
STOP TRYING TO LOOK COOL
4. ASSOCIATIONS/FRIENDSHIPS/RELATIONSHIPS/NETWORKS
Don't associate urself with ppl that don't bring a kind of growth to u. Don't have friends that only call u for parties and not business seminars. Don't have partners that want u that pressure u into spending overspending. Network around ppl that contribute to u building ur legacy.
SURROUND URSELF WITH PPL THAT FORCE U TO LEVEL UP
5. ENTERTAINMENT/"BEING YOUTHY"
Don't be fooled by the things u see on TV because they are created by experts to make u feel exactly that way. Don't choose to see the fun in spending R1000 on alcohol and boredom in spending R1000 on projects that built u. TV Sells debt, that's what it's programmed to do
THERE IS A TIME FOR EVERYTHING!
People tend to overestimate what they can achieve in a year and underestimate what they can achieve in 10 years.
"The problem with young ppl is that they don't know how young they really are."
Stop trying to meet society's standards. Society overall is in debt.
Day and night on television we are sold debt.
How can u even have the courage to drive a car worth R400k when u don't even have R50k on investments? How can u have the courage to spend R14000 p/m in a place u don't own?
A lot of ppl who are said to be successful by our society are having sleepless nights sinking in debt they have depression it's just that they won't tell u because they know u worship them. Instead, they will try faking it even more.
The system was designed to put u into debt and keep u there, but it's a good thing u have the power to choose to escape it. U can't get out of this system thinking like everyone ones.
Most ppl are not living the life that they are showing u.
If u want to be part of the 1% u must start thinking like the 1%.
My Brothers and Sisters, if u have not realized that if u grew up in a poor background then most of the things u are working for now are not urs, but for the legacy and upcoming generations u are creating, then please read this again.
I'll say this again when they say it runs in the blood of the family, u say, "this is where it runs out."
Let's break generational curses!
Happy Monday
