The littlest turned one 🥹🤍 & I was not ready

We spent time with old friends 🤍

Many walks were had 🌳

Does your cat also like to roll around in dirt piles and then find beautifully crisp white bedding to nap on?

It’s at around this time of year that I start getting frustrated by the lack of flowers in my garden 🌸😝

She went to watch a movie? Say whaat? 🍿🎥 I highly recommend watching The Odyssey! Bring ear plugs 👌

We visited the seaside 🌊🐚

I photographed so many babies 🥹🤍

I almost didn’t post this 🤣🙈😝 That first session is… a lot. I had no idea what I was doing but I’m so glad I didn’t let that stop me!

10 years and thousands of sessions later, here we are. Prompted over posed. Real moments over stiff smiles. A whole style I didn’t even know I was building back then.

Thank you for following along on this journey, cringe beginnings and all. Nobody starts out knowing what they’re doing. You just start, and you keep going 🤍

She almost didn’t book it …

A last-minute house move, a pregnancy that was demanding her full attention, and a mind full of everything that still needed to happen before he arrived. A maternity shoot felt like one more thing.

But she did it anyway.

And she says to this day that it was one of the softest moments of that whole season ❤️ She caught her breath. She soaked in the moment before everything changed. And a few days late, he arrived and the world got beautifully loud again.
