Abbey & Sam’s Safari Destination Wedding in the Greater Kruger
Travelling all the way from the UK, Abbey and Sam chose the magic of the African bush for an intimate safari destination wedding with their two daughters by their side.
They stayed at Villa Marula at Unembeza Boutique Lodge & Spa in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, while their wedding ceremony and all their safari drives took place inside the beautiful Pridelands Conservancy, part of the Greater Kruger.
Their wedding experience was made even more unforgettable with Big Five safaris hosted by Matumi Destinations. The one animal they hoped to see was a lion, and the bush delivered something truly extraordinary, lions with their cubs gathered around a giraffe kill.
From Abbey’s warmth, joy and bubbly personality to the quiet, heartfelt moments shared as a family, their wedding was a privilege to witness and capture.
We are always excited when we receive the wedding details and see Kelly Mae Photography listed as the photographer. There is a natural synergy between photographer and videographer, and Kelly always keeps the experience centred around the bride and couple, while making sure both the photographs and wedding film are given the time and space needed to be truly beautiful.
