Proof of life, lately 🌸

This season has been deeply rewarding & deeply stretching all at once.
Beautifully chaotic.
Full in the best kind of way.

The kind of season that asks more of you, but somehow gives more back too.
Creating, celebrating, loving, chasing sunrises, building dreams and learning that growth rarely arrives wrapped in comfort.

This has been my pink season 🦩 a season of growth and getting my pink back. Warmth returning after a season that felt heavy. Colour finding its way back into my life, my heart, and my spirit.

So here’s to stepping into my Esther era.

Choosing faith over fear.
Surrender over striving.
Obedience over comfort.

Learning that courage often looks less like confidence and more like obedience. That sometimes God places you in uncomfortable rooms, unfamiliar seasons and stretching spaces
not by accident,
but for purpose.

A N Y A + L J ✨ where heaven met earth.

Tucked deep in the mountains, surrounded by white rose gardens and the most breathtaking views, Anya & LJ’s day felt like something out of a quiet dream.
The forecast threatened rain, but nothing could steal the light from a day so full of love, softness, and grace.

I met Anya while photographing one of her closest friends, and from the very beginning, there was something that just clicked, the kind of connection that feels easy, natural… and stays with you.

She’s the kind of bride who doesn’t rush through a moment / she lingers in it.
She holds her hugs a second longer, she feels deeply, she loves gently. 🤍

We danced in the rain, laughed a lot, and honestly… these two have the kind of love that doesn’t need explaining - it just is (cue romantic Notebook quote here 😉).

Also - any couple that brings rain to the Karoo automatically earns a permanent soft spot in my heart.

If this was their engagement shoot 🫠, I already know their wedding day is going to be something really special. ✨

I remember telling Melissa + James during their shoot how easy it was to photograph them because real love doesn’t have to be forced. You can see it. You can feel it. It lives in the way two people naturally move toward each other. 🤍
