New airsoft field in Auckland, NZ. So pleased "the camera chick in the bright pink top" wasn't a victim of a shooting.
The soldiers, three in particular - Jared Fagan, Daniel Reynolds and Mike Evans (all friends from KHS who live in NZ) fought bravely and are all safe at home - feeling victorious and very eina! And planning the next pew-pew outing!

Time to show off my youngest son's photos. Ethan took these just before midnight on New Year's Eve in Auckland city. Yes, on his phone aswell (insert another hanging-head-in-shame emoji here).
I love the fact that my boys love the lens as much as I do - albeit it's their phones!

My eldest son Jared always brags about the camera he has on his cellphone. He's always stopping and taking close-ups of something, anything! Today, while we were enjoying a beautiful day in New Zealand, he stopped quite often. I snapped him snapping objects....yes yes, with my cellphone camera (insert hanging-head-in-shame emoji here) and I was really impressed with his pics.
The verdict... As a mom: they amazing photos. As a photographer: they amazing photos (for a novice photographer).
Well done Jared. I'm super proud of you!
