Mother’s Day 2026.
My favourite kind of day will always be with them. The ones who love me most-es-est.
After a little nap on the couch (winning) we headed off to a newish sunset spot to see the sunset. Guys.
It
was
WILD.

That wind almost cancelled the plans but we love a little adventure so armed with that and a somewhat good attitude, we explored.
It was a little crazy. And then. My kids being my kids decided to test what would happen to Oros up there in the wind.
I laughed so much and could not have imagined it any other way.
They’ve renamed the gallery “O-O-O-Oros!”
Naturally.

GOLDEN LIGHT ADVENTURES

Guys. But the light. Needed to pop some sneak peeks of this from yesterday so I’ll remember that it’s my favourite time of the year. Feels like it came earlier than last year and I’m so excited!!

A moment for the neighbours who put their sprinkler on and the perfect time and the fact that photo memories are the best!

Dear God,
Thank you for the incredible gift of children.
Thank you for a school that was always your idea. Thank you for the people who prayed into this school so many years ago and for every teacher who finds themselves teaching here.
Thank you that our children wake up on the first day of school with a joy in the heart knowing that they will be loved and cared for, guided and taught in the most incredible environment.
Thank you that you go before them and beside them and behind them.
Thank you for peace as we walk them in every morning.
Thank you for this year ahead.

DENNISON ADVENTURES

These guys. Climbed into my car after this shoot beaming.
What a joy for me when clients get to the location and announce they won’t be wearing shoes. To just capture what ever I can. Whose kids made me belly laugh a few times. Who loved a good ‘ol’ funny photo. Who spent a good whack of time looking for real bugs. Holding them and stroking the alien type grasshoppers like there’s no tomorrow while I practised breathing and trying to be cool. Who happily cuddled their parents. Who genuinely have fun together as a family.

I sit in awe to know that God has a purpose and a plan for my life. I felt it undoubtedly at five years old when I was removed from one family.

In awe that His purpose for my life unfolds in different seasons in the same way.
Filled with intention.
Lavished in love.
Wind in my sails.
Fire in my bones.

I felt it in every question. Ones I spoke out loud and ones I wrestled with silently. Every doubt. Every heartache. Every fear. I felt His gentle whisper at a young age and through worship songs I belted out. I felt it through so many of my growing years. Inviting. Guiding. Reminding me of who I am and to whom I belong.

In awe that while He was whispering to me He was also speaking to my new family. A home filled with more sisters. A home filled with authentic love. A home filled with family board games on repeat and sneaking roast chicken skin from a Sunday roast. A home filled with boldness and courage and hearts that learnt to love two more.

When I meet a newborn baby I am incredulous as to how humans could deny that God is real.
One of the greatest miracles.
And adoption will forever make me acutely grateful that God is real. He is the author of life. He goes before me and behind me and beside me.
And I will always be grateful that these two said yes.

CHRISTMAS MINIS- On the couch vibes.

A few days ago I saw a little gap of this light just before supper time and hustled the couch into the garden with the kids. I’m so happy I did!

ADVENTURES WITH THE FOURIES.
I love these little moments. I love that they arrived in bandannas and love Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles and that I can have conversations about the fact that Michelangelo was the best one! And I can still hum the tune.

We explored the little nature reserve and these boys know so many facts about so many things and I loved every little minute. Can’t wait to show you the whole gallery!
