Lord, may nothing separate me from You today. Teach me how to choose only Your way today so each step will lead me closer to You. Help me walk by the Word and not my feelings. Help me to keep my heart pure and undivided. Protect me from my own careless thoughts, words, and actions. And keep me from being distracted by MY wants, MY desires, MY thoughts on how things should be. Help me to embrace what comes my way as an opportunity... rather than a personal inconvenience. And finally, help me to rest in the truth of Psalm 86:13, 'Great is your love toward me.' You already see the ways I will fall short and mess up. But right now, I consciously tuck Your whisper of absolute love for me into the deepest part of my heart. I recognize Your love for me is not based on my performance. You love me warts and all. That's amazing. But what's most amazing is that the Savior of the world would desire a few minutes with me this morning. Lord, help me to forever remember what a gift it is to sit with You like this. Amen.

You miss him, don't you? I know you do. I know missing him is keeping you up. I know missing him makes it hard to sleep. I know missing him has your mind feeling troubled. I know missing him has your heart aching. But honestly, think about this. Do you think he's out there missing you, too? Do you think he's out there thinking about you, too? Do you think he's out there losing sleep because of you, too? Do you think he's out there feeling the same way towards you, too? You've been holding on to this for so long, but have you ever asked yourself what you're even holding to anymore? Is there even something to hold to? Maybe you're just being too stubborn to let go of the memory of what
your relationship with him once was, or maybe you're just being too hopeful that everything will fall back into place with him one day, but deep down, I know you know it's truly over this time around. I know your heart feels like it's in the right place, but maybe, just maybe, your heart should be on you and only you instead of someone who's heart is no longer on you and hasn't been for awhile. Don't waste any more time than you already have. Don't chase something that no longer wants to be caught by you. Don't spend your energy fighting with your feelings to decide whether or not it's time to move on. Start putting yourself first. Start going after your own happiness. Start being in love with yourself
