Every time I see a sunset like this, it reminds me of one of the most important people in my life my ABUELA . I’m pretty sure she had something to do with this one, because it completely took my breath away.

The colors were even more incredible in real life. Honestly, the photo doesn’t even compare. But maybe that’s what makes sunsets so special they’re impossible to fully capture.

I love the idea that every beautiful sunset is still something I get to share with her. Even though she’s gone, somehow she’s still there in those quiet moments, in the sky, in the light, in every sunset that stops me for a second and makes me look up. ✨

This was my second time in Iceland, and it’s strange how memory works. I remembered this black church so clearly… but when I saw it again, it felt completely different.

Maybe it was the snow this time. The first time I saw it, the landscape felt softer. Now everything was covered in white, the sky was gloomy, and somehow that made the black church stand out even more dramatically against the silence around it.

I think that’s what I love about Iceland , the same place never feels the same twice. The weather changes it, the light changes it, and honestly… you change too. 🤍

Semana Santa has always been familiar to me as a Latina , I grew up knowing what procesiones were. But experiencing it here in Spain is something entirely different.

These photos were taken last year in Zaragoza, and I remember feeling completely taken by the atmosphere. It’s not just the processions themselves, but the depth of what they represent. The way religion and culture intertwine here turns into something deeply emotional, almost tangible.

You don’t just watch Semana Santa in Spain , you feel it. In the silence, in the music, in the faces of the people who live it so intensely.

On one of my last days in Kruger, I was driving on my own and decided to stop at a waterhole.
To my surprise, it was full of hippos but what caught my eye was this African openbill, standing quietly among the water lilies.

It’s crazy how some images can take you right back in time. like time travel .

Another moment in the medina, Marrakech.
A man taking a nap in the middle of the day, surrounded by noise, movement, and chaos. somehow he can rest.

This image isn’t perfect , far from it.
But sometimes the story is stronger than the technique.
And that’s why I love it.

If you know me, you know I’m completely obsessed with elephants.

There’s something powerful about them , their presence, their calm, their quiet intelligence. When I photograph them, I often try to tell the story of a giant through a small piece of the moment.

This photograph is called “Peace.” 🐘
A quiet reminder that strength doesn’t always need to be loud.

This photograph was part of one of my projects at school, which focused on photographing animals in zoos. It was one of the first images I captured for that project.

I titled it “The Spectator.”

Moments like this were also one of the reasons I dreamed of going to Africa in the first place. I wanted to see elephants truly free, living in their natural environment.
