Capturing Moments Photography Let's connect and make your moments unforgettable. I'm Henry Hamza Tong, and I believe in simplicity.

My approach is straightforward: I focus on people and their stories. As a very people-oriented person, I prefer to meet in person for our initial consultation. This allows me to engage with you directly, understanding what you, as an individual, want from the experience you're entrusting me to capture. My goal is for you to feel as comfortable with me as you would with a family member by the end o

f our meeting. When it comes to pricing for events and functions, flexibility is key. I don't have fixed rates; instead, I work within your budget to create a customized package that meets your specific needs and desires.

✨ Something I read and just had to share:

He charged $10,000 to make one chalk mark on a broken machine — and even Henry Ford had to admit he was worth every penny.

In 1920, a massive generator at Henry Ford’s River Rouge plant broke down, halting production.
Engineers tried everything for days… but no one could find the problem.

Finally, Ford called Charles Proteus Steinmetz, a brilliant (and eccentric) electrical engineer.

Steinmetz asked for just a cot, a notebook, and a pencil.
For two days, he studied the silent generator, filled pages with calculations, and listened closely to the hum of the machine.

On the third morning, he climbed a ladder, made a single chalk mark on the generator, and said:

“Remove sixteen turns of wire from this coil.”

The technicians followed his instructions — and the generator roared back to life.

When Ford received the invoice, it read:

Making chalk mark: $1
Knowing where to put it: $9,999

Ford paid in full.

That day, he learned something we all need to remember:
💡 You’re not paying for the five minutes it takes to fix a problem — you’re paying for the years of experience that make it possible to fix it in five minutes.

Anyone can swing a hammer.
Not everyone knows where to hit.

So next time someone’s expertise seems costly, remember — you’re not paying for their time, you’re paying for their ability to save yours.

Today, members of uishinkai showcased the rich traditions of Okinawan martial arts at The Japanese School of Johannesburg. The demonstration highlighted the discipline, precision, and cultural heritage embedded in the art of Kobujutsu — the classical weaponry system of Okinawa.

Students and guests were treated to displays of traditional weapons such as the bo, sai, and surujin illustrating both the historical roots and continued evolution of this centuries-old martial discipline.

The event served not only as a cultural exchange but also as a celebration of dedication, respect, and the enduring spirit of martial arts.

FlashbackFriday to an incredible Yuishinkai Ryukyu Kobujutsu seminar at Wits, led by the amazing ! 🌟

We delved into the ancient martial art of the Ryukyu Islands, exploring both "Toshu-jutsu" (empty hand techniques) and "Emono-jutsu" (weapon techniques). 🥋🗡️ Ryukyu Kobujutsu includes 8 unique weapons: Bo, Sai, Tonfa, Nunchaku, K**a, Tekko, Tinbe, and Surujin. Each with its own rich history and techniques!

The seminar reminded us that by studying the old, we learn the new. A huge thank you to for an unforgettable experience! 🙏
