To all my clients, followers and friends.......
As you might have noticed I have only posted 1 shoot this year that I did for Joy Magazine.
No weddings, no matric farewells or any other shoots.
I decided to take a sabbatical for 2022 for a couple of reasons.
I am busy with my 4th year Emet Bibleschool and decided to focus on that as the work is a lot and very intense but the Spiritual reward is amazing!! At the moment I am preparing for my final exam for my 4th year.
The 2nd reason is that our kids are so busy with sports over the weekends and to book a wedding months in advance and not knowing if they will have a tournament etc is very difficult. Being a mom that want's to support them and cheer them on in their passion this becomes a bit of a mission. When you look again they are at University and you will never get back that moments again.
I absolutely love weddings. I think the reason for this is my passion for the Bride of Yeshua and what a privileged to have done so many weddings with such beautiful brides as my clients.
Not knowing, God was busy preparing me for something else
One morning in 2019 Abba Father showed me visions of this warrior of God and suddenly all this pictures started to flood my mind and I was literally face down on the floor in His presence. He told me that I must do a photo shoot portraying this Warrior. The next moment He told me to phone a friend of mine in Cape Town that is an amazing prophetic artist. He said she must be part of this shoot and paint this warrior.
I phoned my dear friend Ilze Kleyn from Art of Kleyn and shared with her what Abba Father told me. She was so excited and said that she has been waiting to do a whole series of prophetic paintings with a warrior. I was in awe of what Abba Father wanted to do.
Everything fell into place and so I did my first shoot with Gerrie Bester from Prof Gerrie Bester - Roaring Truth Ministries
I did a couple of other warrior and bride photo shoots with the pictures that Abba Father gave me
I knew that this was the beginning of something new
But first I had to step out of my current season and take some time out.
So my dear clients and friends, I will be back next year.
But I won't do weddings and other shoots anymore except on the odd occasion here and there. Some friends of mine insist that I do their daughters weddings (hahaha)
I will be doing prophetic shoots with the pictures that God shows me but also for clients that has a message or story to tell
