A Fork-tailed Drongo in deep conversation with an elephant. I know some don’t like it, and it’s not always appropriate, but I like to anthropomorphize in my imagination when creating images and being with wildlife - it helps me connect and relate even though it might sometimes seem a little silly…

I do however believe there are deeper things going on in nature that we might not understand 👀

The year has been filled with surprise sightings of lions. This particular lioness caught my eye through the bushes earlier this year in Pilanesberg.

A mixture of intuition, doubtless action, focus and finally letting go of any expected outcomes can eventually lead to moments like this where things seem to come to you in the wilderness. Not always, but often enough!
