Queens. Please understand that if you want liberation from the patriarchal societal structure that has kept you constricted from expressing yourself or being who you truly are you must take it. The rules of this society weren't designed for you. If you walk the straight line doing what's right by what's "ladylike" you subject yourself to a life of submissive shrinking of yourself to appease the ideals of insecure men. If you go left and live life walking in your truth you're also judged by the same insecure men. Either way.. you can't win when trying to play in the game of mainstream culture. You have to decide that you're no longer going to submit to the ideals of weak minded men that don't know you nor who care to. The ideals of men who instilled beliefs and customs ages before you lived. And quite frankly I'm tired of it. It frustrates me hearing story after story of how women have been shrunken and belittled for simply expressing who they are, their thoughts, their desires, their beliefs and enough is enough. Please my queens stand up. Don't feel that you aren't strong enough. You are so so so much more powerful than you know..
