A photo captures moments, smiles, frowns and emotions that will never revisit, which is why I take pride in every photo that I shoot. All my shoots are done on location and my style aims to capture Bona Fide moments rather than strained smiles and pompous poses. A
lot of great pictures are taken when you don’t even know that someone is taking your photo. When I do a photoshoot, it is pretty chilled and relaxed, so much so, that when I do arrive on location without a tripod, my clients have the ‘Oh shoot, what is this?’ expression on their faces, however as the day rolls out these misinterpretations also roll out. It is important to me that my clients feel comfortable and free during their photoshoots because in essence, all I aim to do is capture them being themselves. For this, if time is on our side, I usually prefer meeting with my client before the photoshoot for a cup of coffee to inform them about my style of photos, telling them a bit about myself and getting to know them a little better as well.
