Krook & King Poker Run: A Day of Chrome, Leather, and Heart 🏍️

What an incredible day at@Gathering o' the Clans! We spent the day with the Krooked Kings for their epic Poker Run, and the atmosphere was absolutely electric.

The old saying goes, "Don't judge a book by its cover," and that couldn't be truer for this brotherhood. They might look "hard on the outside" with their leathers and roaring bikes, but it’s only a shell for the immense passion and genuine camaraderie inside.

We were there to capture the chrome, the leather vests, and the countless smiles. From the intense focus on the road to the relaxed laughter at the stops, it was a privilege to document such a tight-knit community enjoying the ride for a good cause.

Bikes, Brotherhood, and Back-Roads. 🦅💨

When I was asked to shoot the biker gathering at the Krook & King and Sean Permuy. I knew it was an event I couldn’t pass up. There’s something completely unique about capturing the raw energy, the leather, and the deep-rooted community of the MC world.

It was an incredible afternoon capturing Crusaders South Africa MC as they visited the Krooked Kings clubhouse in Muldersdrift. From the camaraderie between brothers to the next generation rocking their own miniature patches, the sense of family and respect was undeniable.

A massive thank you to everyone who made me feel welcome and let me capture a glimpse into your world.
